The Operations Planning team have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Planner to join the team! As the Operation Planner you will be responsible for the creation of a robust production plan to support operations requirements. You will manage and maintain both the material and the production plan, identifying risk and developing proposals and solutions. Lead regular material/production programme review meetings.

Day to day you will:
Load Customer demands on to the Master Production Schedule.
Efficiently manage Planner workbench activities.
Build relationships with all team members and stakeholders.
Manage Inventory in line with company goals.
Develop solutions to material issues and support manufacturing processes.
Lead daily Short Interval Management meetings to maintain focus on MPS delivery.
Report on material availability and works order updates e.g. Line of Balance, Shop Floor Control.
Release works orders into the kitting process and sales orders into the shipping process.
Support NPI requirements and support management and control of material through engineering change.
About You
You will be customer focused and motivated to ensure on time delivery whilst adhering to company processes and policy.
An excellent communicator both verbally and written and someone who approaches issues and tasks with a positive and solution driven mind-set.
You will enjoy collaborating with your team and wider stakeholders to find resolutions that will help achieve challenging production targets. You should be able to communicate your proposed resolutions to all audiences.
Planning experience within a manufacturing environment is key for this role and a qualification in support of this is desirable, though not essential.
Oracle experience would be advantageous. Understanding of complex bills of material & routings would be beneficial.
A high level of computer literacy is required including a good working knowledge of Excel being essential.
