Position Overview: This position supports the delivery of Marketing Performance - Urban Science client services on an account team. The position is focused on both technical & client handling skills, with a heavier focus on client handling and relationship building. While assisting in fostering client relationships, the incumbent will assist in monthly updates, quarterly updates, client ad-hoc support, client market study consultation, client training, etc. The role may be required to collaborate with Solution Engineering & Implementation (SEI) teams to successfully deliver Network solutions that meet the client’s business requirements at the direction of the Manager or Sr. Manager. This role has current Hybrid Workplace flexibility local to our Plano, TX office. Candidate must be available and willing to work in person up to two days per month.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
University degree required; technical background strongly preferred (i.e., engineering, applied math, statistics, applied science, information systems, operations research, etc.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent foreign institution. Non-technical degrees will be considered if candidate possesses appropriate level of analytical and technical knowledge required for the role.

Base Salary Range: $66,470.00 - $81,855.00 + discretionary bonus potential. This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs, creates, and manages client databases, utilizing Urban Science proprietary software, ensuring accurate and high-quality data.Plans, organizes, develops, and delivers client-requested reports, deliverables, and projects on time, adhering to client-requested specifications.
- Processes/assists in processing registration & service data monthly to update Ni2®.
- Processes/assists in processing registration & service data quarterly to update CAMS.
- Understand materials and administers client training sessions on topics including, but not limited to: Data, Network Solutions (Ni2®, CAMS, NetworkDynamics), Dealer Network Analysis Process (DNAP), and client business rules.
- Attends project meetings and participates in presenting project status updates to client representatives or internal management to clearly communicate project status, conclusions, and results.
- Assists management in creating estimates and proposals for clients in order to have a better understanding of the proposal process.
- Serves as a contact for, and develops relationships with, the client in order to effectively respond to client requests and inquiries in a timely manner and help improve client satisfaction.
- Acquires and maintains a thorough understanding of client data for assigned projects in order to properly create client deliverables.
- Tracks, processes, analyzes, and verifies data in order to improve accuracy and quality.
- Assumes responsibility for accurate and high-quality data being utilized on assigned projects.
- Accurately performs application coding and testing functions associated with the development of custom client software.
- Use technical skills to accurately update and maintain Urban Science's internal software systems.
- Adheres to quality control standards for Urban Science and client organizations.
- Coordinates with individuals or teams to complete analyses, tasks, and projects on time and with high quality.
- Proactively communicates with management to provide updates and report issues in a timely manner.
- Actively works with the manager to understand and implement solutions to improve NPS (client satisfaction).
- Partners with internal teams to ensure that software is properly installed, set up, and functioning at established quality levels.
- Actively supports and participates in required Urban Science training programs to achieve targeted development objectives.
- Works with manager in completing own annual goal setting and performance review in a timely manner.
- Works with manager to prioritize other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In preparation for possible future supervisory responsibilities, this person may be called upon to do the following for assigned staff:
- Set objectives
- Participate in performance appraisals
- Assign and prioritize work
- Approve timesheets
- Establish and maintain quality, quantity, and timeliness of work
- Oversee training
- Coach, mentor, manage, and motivate
Qualifications - Education and Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Database: Requires strong technical proficiency with SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues. Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), including designing, developing, and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Proficiency in either C# or Python for scripting and automation tasks related to data manipulation and integration. In-depth knowledge of relational database concepts, data modeling, and database management systems (DBMS). Experience in database administration tasks such as performance tuning, indexing, and maintaining data integrity. Familiarity with data warehousing principles and practices.
- Technical/Software: Must have proficiency in at least one of the major coding languages, namely VBA, C#, or Python, with a preference for C#. The ability to maintain existing automation in SSIS software is also required. Must be extremely proficient in SQL (see Database section above)
- Technical Documentation and Reporting: Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation, including system specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting guides. Proficiency in generating reports and data analysis using SQL and other relevant tools.
- Verbal Communication: Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients, understanding their technical requirements, and providing solutions. Demonstrated experience in delivering technical presentations, conducting training sessions, and handling client inquiries or concerns.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Incumbent will be required to successfully complete one or more of our company certifications during their tenure at Urban Science, at a date to be determined by their manager and/or HR.
- Certification of Apprentice for one practice area (or external equivalent)
- Certification of Consultant in one Practice area OR Certification of Apprentice in two practice areas strongly preferred (or external equivalent)
- Project Management Ambassador
- Urban Science Ambassador
- Statistics 1 & Basic Statistics Assessment (or external equivalent)
