The ideal candidate will possess a passion for bar-raising brand marketing, strong organizational and creative direction skills, and experience creating operational efficiencies and aligning stakeholders across key brand initiatives. This role reports to the Head of Prime Video - US Creative and Production and will work closely with the Global Brand team, building and developing compelling visions and narratives and effectively delivering deliver bar-raising, best in class creative at global scale.As a leader, you will own the creative development of consumer creative advertising for the Prime Video brand and guide cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class integrated programs that drive awareness, acquisition and engagement. In addition to global brand statement campaign creation, you will develop strategic creative content aligned with global tentpole series and movies to keep fans engaged on multiple platforms and connected to the broader Amazon family of brands: Amazon Music, Prime, Books, Twitch, Retail, among many others.This role requires a blended balance of creative leader and brand builder. Successful candidates must have a proven track record for ideating bar-raising creative concepts. You will deliver inspiring, actionable and innovative 360 global creative campaigns, including working autonomously to set creative roadmaps, write creative briefs, deliver creative efficiencies. You also have substantial experience working with research and media agencies, branding agencies, and creative partners. Dedicated creative-directing experience crafting multi-title short form promotional and commercial audio/visual content is key to this role.This full-time role is required to work on-premise, not remotely.Key job responsibilitiesLead overall global creative development of consumer marketing for the Prime Video Brand, including creation of briefs, approach, architecture, brand management, and cross-functional planning.Drive 360 brand creative direction in the US across all channels (e.g. social, digital, Amazon owned channels, TV, in-theater, print, out-of-home) as well as globally, as a centralized model.Provide creative direction and feedback to internal creative and external agency teams to ensure all elements are on brand and aligned with campaign and brand strategy.Act as a leader and “catalyst” who inspires others to deliver bar-raising, best in class ideas and creative assets at a global scale.Spark big ideas that drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention, obtain buy-in and effectively and efficiently implement ideas at scale.Promptly deliver detailed notes and feedback to internal creatives (Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Producers, Editors) and external creative agencies and vendors in order to refine and elevate the creative across all asset types through all phases of development and finishing approvals.Present documents and decks to senior leadership regularly to update on key metrics and progress of creative development; set mechanisms to operationalize timely status updates for campaigns.Work collaboratively with various internal and external cross-functional stakeholders, including channels, TVOD, SVOD and international teams, to ensure overall global success.Align closely with research teams to incorporate priority consumer insight studies and track the customer journey.Cultivate positive relationships with appropriate agencies, companies, talent, executive producers, external studios and other relevant global stakeholders to forward our brand position.About the teamWe are the center of creative and production excellence for the Prime Video Brand (Hub/Service-Level/Brand Governance), Marketplace (Channels, PVOD, TVOD) and Sports Marketing. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,200/year in our highest geographic market.
