Supply Relationship Manager

GSK is looking for a Supply Relationship Manager with the purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient, timely and reliable supply of materials/ products from a designated number of external 3rd party contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs) to commercial markets and GMS sites, throughout the duration of the contract.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Establish relationships based on trust and collaboration with all stakeholders E2E for the CMOs/ products the supplier relationship manager is responsible for.
  • Effective flow of information both internally & externally to process orders, using designated GSK tools.
  • Partnering with the planning organisation to ensure OTIF delivery of required stock, and future planning for forecasted requirements.
  • Partnering with the quality organizations between GSK and suppliers to ensure product flow.
  • Partnering with the technical organizations between GSK and suppliers to ensure that the process performance meets GSK expectations and that the supplier is receiving the technical support necessary.
  • Processing shipment documentation.
  • Coordinating sample movement.
  • Confirming supply schedules and performance against target, inputting into SEM KPIs.
  • Escalation and management of priorities to support patient supply.
  • Coordinating sub team meetings as necessary to resolve issues aligned to technical, quality and supply concerns.

As this is an interface role, good influencing and communication skills both internally and externally are key to success in the role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience with GSK or equivalent ERP systems for operations
  • Some experience of supply chain or procurement operations
  • An understanding of On Time In Full supply
  • Experience with data tracking and KPI accountabilities
