Telematics Account Manager - Kinesis


Due to our continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our growing Telematics team. We offer a generous commission structure along with exceptional opportunities for progression for the right candidate.


The role …


The role of Telematics Account Manager is important to us. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with some of our key customer base, driving upsell campaigns whilst also being a first point of contact for queries.

We would love to welcome you to our Telematics sales office in Crewe where we work from 8:30am to 5pm. You’ll report into the Key Accounts Sales Manager on a day-to-day basis, supporting a wider team of Account Management specialists.


Salary:
£35,000 OTE in year one. With a protected commission of £750 per month for the first 3 months.

Location: Herald Drive, Crewe, CW1 6EG

Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30am-17:00pm

What is Kinesis?


Kinesis is our fleet management service. Using satellite technology to communicate directly with the engine management systems of our customer vehicles, Kinesis shows live vehicle locations, journey history and highlights exactly how a customer’s vehicles are being driven to help manage their fleet. All this can be viewed through Velocity, our online management portal, which allows customers to manage all of their cards and services with one single login.


Radius Telematics has a range of products from Kinesis, Atom, Kinesis Vision and Kinesis Pro. Telematics that we provide can be used for all sizes of fleet and industries.


We strive to be the number one telematics provider across the globe. The successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the department run smoothly by continually improving and maintaining systems and procedures to achieve maximum efficiency.


Radius Telematics provides user friendly software that gives vehicle-tracking information to business users worldwide. Vehicle hardware ranges from self-install devices to high-end equipment with dashboard cameras.


What would your day to day look like?

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with some of our key customers.
  • Oversee customer growth, training, and development of best practices to continually drive business value and return on the customer’s investment.
  • Drive upsell campaigns letting customer taking greater advantage from Radius Telematics product/service catalogue whilst creating longer and stronger contractual relationships
  • Be the single point of contact and escalation for the customer. Including directing customers quickly and efficiently to additional help resources such as Help & Training within the application, personally helping with questions/issues.
  • Increase customer retention and adoption rates by regular check-in calls and account reviews to assess and track levels of satisfaction.
  • Track customer activity to identify churn risk and work proactively via targeted outreach campaigns to eliminate that risk, while simultaneously identifying and closing upsell opportunities when applicable.
  • Assist in obtaining customer references, case studies and testimonials and referral from portfolio of customers.
  • Serve as customer advocate, including collecting customer feedback on product needs, understanding customer and industry trends and articulating those back to the business.
  • Work closely with internal resources on escalation and resolution processes for critical customer issues.
  • Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
  • Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients and promote new products and features
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Be the voice of the customer internally
  • Be able to advise customers on invoicing and billing question

  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience initiating and building positive relationships
  • Commercial acumen with good track record of similar roles responsibilities with significant commercial results
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to function in an extremely high volume, forever evolving new business environment while always maintaining a smile and positive disposition
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of working with Sales Targets
