The Geography Department seeks a 12-month Salaried Research Faculty I.
Dr. Chris Uejio’s team seeks candidates who specialize in climate change and human health, health disparities, and/or spatial or temporal analysis. Salary and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to sustaining a research agenda in Health Geography and/or Applied Climatology. Publication of research in outlets appropriate to the candidate’s specialty is expected.
The candidate will work on funded projects (e.g., Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; National Academy of Sciences Gulf Research Program; National Aeronautics and Space Administration).
