About the job

We are looking for a vibrant & enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies and promotional materials.

As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our external & internal marketing channels.

This position will allow you to acquire new marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will ensure our company's marketing efforts to help us achieve our immediate and long-term company goals. To be successful in this position they must be a passionate, continuous learner with an entrepreneurial attitude and drive to win.

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule engaging social media posts on various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok).
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media and other forms of communication.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and algorithms.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including graphics, flyers, and email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with our sales department to develop and execute direct mail and email marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor & collect data from marketing campaigns to help ensure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Respond to all company reviews fast and accordingly.
  • Research industry trends, consumer opinions, & competition.
  • Gauge customer satisfaction through surveys, polls, & online feedback.
  • Partner with digital creator to script, produce & refine video content.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and celebrate relationships with community partners & influencers.
  • Secure new & existing award recognition opportunities.
  • Assist in planning and orchestrating internal & community-wide events while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Implement & maintain internal organization & display of marketing materials & accolades.
  • Assist in ordering brand & marketing materials.
  • Seek-out & facilitate participation in community events

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience with Email Marketing platforms.
  • Exposure to the basic principles of Microsoft Office and Google Products.
  • Working knowledge of various social media and Reputation Management platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to cultivate metrics and identify meaningful trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices.
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Exemplify a strong commitment to follow-through.
  • Project Management Experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Canva is a plus.
