What you get to do in this role:
- Contribute to design and stage telepresence solutions using AV system components such as LCD/Plasma displays, DLP projection systems, HD camera systems, control systems, microphones, speakers, video/audio distribution amplifiers, scalars, and switchers power distribution
- Review work of third party audio/video install teams to ensure compliance with company standards
- Identify and provide support for integration of AV systems, video conferencing platforms and other IT tools as necessary
- Conduct advanced programming allowing for a single point of control for audio visual systems
- Perform appearance and preventive maintenance visits to conference rooms (VC connections, wires, peripherals, speakers)
- Clearly communicate and document processes to team, vendors, and partners;
- Research and develop the best video conference experience from the ground up with consideration for scalability and rapid deployment;
- Work closely with the AV team, space planning teams, and users to define the technical requirements for a space;
- Use a range of software to create AV design diagrams, content and create great collaboration experiences
- Generating proposals, bill of materials (BOMS), statements of work and scopes of work
- Assist in the development of processes and standards for conference room designs and support across several different environments
- Work with our integrators and project managers to ensure proper implementation.
- Provide operational technical support on AV systems with an emphasis on control system programming and commissioning.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics and communications Engineering or equivalent
- CAD Degree/Certificate or equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Super technology oriented and highly organized
- Great listening and communication skills
- Knowledge of cameras, control systems, audio, video, projectors, displays, etc;
- Good understanding of IT operations, networking, ITIL methodologies
- 0-2+ years of AV design, integration, or project management experience and working with highly cross functional teams and collaboration
- Great communication skills and helpful attitude

For positions in New York City, we offer a base pay of $ 84,900-$ 123,100, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
