We are hiring for a Building Security Manager position that is critical in delivering ISS's vision to our client. The role requires an adaptive, flexible, and customer-focused approach to interact and deliver across various aspects of daily operations, aiming for a curated experience for our client. The Building Security Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Security Officers to meet day-to-day operational requirements and complete routine and client-allocated tasks. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining building security and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Our company is seeking a talented individual to manage the operational delivery of the security service to our UK estate, overseeing all daily security tasks and ensuring a consistent, professional service to our client.
As the Building Security Manager, you will be accountable for implementing, managing, reviewing, and adhering to all operational procedures outlined in the Assignment Instructions (AI's) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by mitigating risks to people, assets, and reputation through a range of security measures aligned with our agreed specifications, KPIs, and SOPs.
You'll also oversee a team of Duty Shift Managers (DSMs) and Security Officers (SOs), ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance with all policies and procedures. With your leadership, you'll promote a positive working environment for our clients, employees, contractors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Physical Security, protection of people, client assets and buildings
- Responsible for all aspects of daily security operations within the building
- Oversee rostering for all your location to include holiday planning and cover
- Oversee Payroll timesheets and liaise with Payroll for any queries
- Liaise directly with Area Managers to manage quality and control of Relief Officers used within your area
- You are responsible for ensuring all mandatory training & compliance has been completed in accordance with account requirements
- Promote incident response procedures to ensure that all staff are fully aware of their duties within an incident
- Complete any other training required by ISS or the client within the agreed timeframes
- Provide Operational support and follow all reasonable requests as directed by Account Management
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all Health & Safety legislation
- Understanding and fully compliant with the delivery and implementation all AI’s and SOP’s specific to your area
Professional and personal competencies/qualifications
- 3–5 Years Security Management experience within prestigious corporate security environment
- Customer facing experience is essential
- PC literate with an intermediate understanding of MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiar with writing SOP’s, Assignment Documentation and Instructions
- People Mgmt Skills
- CCTV experience
