Are you passionate about using data to drive results? To continue our fibre delivery plan, we require an Analytics Manager to supply quality reporting and insights to drive operational actions and strategic decisions. You will deliver analytics to underpin the delivery of ultrafast fibre broadband (FTTP) to 25 million homes and businesses.
The Full Fibre programme is a key strategic priority for both BT Group and the UK government. This role within Fibre and Network Delivery, is a great opportunity to use data to drive one of the UK’s key infrastructure projects forward.
What you’ll be doing
- You will leverage data across multiple systems and collaborate with key stakeholders to provide the right insights to senior leadership.
- You and your team will work with operational and data teams as well as senior stakeholders to capture requirements and build reporting and deliver the regular and ad-hoc insights the business needs.
- You will drive the scoping, planning, design and delivery of data visualisations to engage audiences in a compelling way.
- You will mentor junior analysts to be able to manage the entire project pipeline for the Insights team, helping to improve the team’s abilities by acting as a technical resource.
Essential Skills
- You will have a strong background in SQL and using visualisations to drive business outcomes in an operational environment.
- Experience of using an Oracle data warehouse and/or experience in using cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform is a plus but not required.
- You will be an expert in your field with experience of using data to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- You will have the ability to pivot between talking to operational, data teams and senior leadership.
