Solent Business School, Solent University Southampton is seeking a Business Management lecturer to teach across a range of business modules within the Solent Business School suite of programmes with a focus around project management and leadership related modules to support learning and teaching across our UG, PG, apprenticeships, and Executive/professional education portfolio. We particularly welcome applicants who hold a PhD (or close to completion), who also have relevant teaching and industry experience in project management. We are looking for lecturers who thrive on innovating curriculum, designing engaging learning environments, and assuring an excellent student experience and graduate outcomes. Familiarity with virtual learning environments, hybrid teaching, blended learning and online pedagogies is essential. The expectation is that the candidate will demonstrate the ability to contribute to the University's REF submission as well as the Departments research and knowledge exchange agenda, which is based around enterprise, entrepreneurship, and regenerative business. The role will involve developing and overseeing course content, module leading, research-informed teaching, supervision, designing real-world assessments, pastoral support, and engaging to deliver the Universities objectives and uphold Solent Values.
Candidates shortlisted for interview will be expected to deliver a 10 minute teaching and learning session around a related topic area for a level 5 student (second year UG) with a focus on a relevant concept and this will be followed by a Q&A interview.
Start date expected early Summer.
