An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Assistant to join our team at Earlsdon Park Village, Coventry
We are located at an ExtraCare Retirement Village, just a stones throw away from Coventry City Centre.
Evening bar shifts required 18:00pm - 23:00pm
Day time shifts required 10:00am - 14:00pm or 15:30pm
Casual positions offering between 1 and 3 shifts per week, with the opportunity to pick up extra hours that suit you!
Job Description
As General Assistant you will have plenty of responsibilities and opportunities to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team. For example:

you will be responsible for ensuring the bar and service area is always clean, well presented, and well-stocked.
-
In addition, you will keep up to date with menus, offering a warm and friendly service.

Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of the menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients

Be responsible for the smooth operation of relevant equipment
-
Operate the till point throughout service, ensuring correct procedures are used
-
Finally, along with colleagues, you will ensure COSHH, food safety, and H&S are followed, with any incidents reported in line with documented procedures.

Skills and Experience
To fill the role of General Assistant, we will require you to possess these essential skills and experience:

Previous bar or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, with the right attitude we can train you up!

Barista experience desired but not essential
