Job Description
We are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to work within our Corporate Affairs function. The role involves for providing a range of administration support across the organisation including minute taking, maintaining action logs, management of the general enquiries mailbox, travel bookings, raising requisition and purchase orders, obtaining quotes for a range of goods, services and stationary, transcribing audio interviews, preparing slides decks, collating data and other information.
The successful candidate will be joining a new team supporting a variety of administrative requirements across the whole of the business. The ability to be flexible and react to short notice requests will be essential along with good communication skills.
The Counter Fraud Authority has offices in London, Coventry and Newcastle and there is the opportunity for office based, hybrid or home working based at any of these locations. In addition to the advertised salary working in the London area will attract High Cost Area Supplement where appropriate

Working within the Corporate Affairs Directorate the postholder is responsible for providing a range of administration support across the organisation. Minute taking at a range of meetings, projects and working groups throughout the organisation and management of the associated action logs, checking progress and implementation against deadline dates.
Oversight of the general enquiries mailbox and other shared mailboxes, reviewing queries and responding autonomously or redirecting as required.
Receive information from a variety of internal and external stakeholders, review content, request further information to ensure full understanding and coordinate responses. This will include handling complex and sensitive data requests.
Making travel and accommodation bookings for the whole organisation ensuring best value for money.
Obtaining quotes, raising requisition and purchase orders for a range of goods, services and stationary. Complete Goods received notices and maintain financial information.
Transcribing audio interviews conducted by the National Investigation Team and LCFS/Complaints Officer.
