Clinical and Scientific Services (CSS) is a Managed Clinical Service (MCS) that provides a broad range of services to the patients treated at the ten hospitals within MFT and the local community, as part of the LCO.
As an MCS we are made up of 5 divisions which include:
Imaging
Pharmacy
Anaesthetics and Critical Care
Laboratory Medicine
Allied Health Professions
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join Clinical and Scientific Services (CSS) as a Business Intelligence Analyst.
This is an opportunity for data visualisation, and Business Intelligence specialists from other backgrounds to challenge their skills within the acute healthcare sector.
You must have good attention to detail, strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise you own work to meet deadlines. An ability to work with data is essential, as is the need to have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with a variety of other colleagues.
The post holder must be adaptable and willing to work flexibly as the service progresses and who keeps the patient at the heart of everything they do.
Job description and main responsibilities include:
Contribute and lead on the design, build and supporting documentation of graphical and informational dashboards, using a variety of software including Microsoft PowerBI.
Establish information requirements in conjunction with the Performance and Data Manager and develop a reporting process, using the data warehouse where appropriate, to meet those needs.
Undertake appropriate information project work, becoming the lead and focal point for organising, collating, and returning sensitive information relating to MCS performance and business planning.
Deal promptly with a wide range of enquires from within CSS and the wider Trust team(s).
Build good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
