Runcorn MCP Limited is a 50/50 joint venture between Vynova (Part of the International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG) and INOVYN (Part of the INEOS Group) which operates a state-of-the-art membrane electrolysis plant for the production of Chlorine, Caustic Soda and Hydrogen . The plant is one of the largest cellrooms in Europe and is located at the Runcorn Site in Cheshire
Main role purpose:
The post holder provides electrical maintenance cover for the Runcorn Membrane Chlorine Plant (MCP) production assets.
Key responsibilities & accountabilities:

Investigate and carry out testing on electrical equipment, repairing any issues and liaising with relevant engineers and managers.

Carry out electrical isolations under SAF04 and maintain relevant SHE, quality, and engineering standards.
- Carry out hazardous area inspections, remedial repairs, maintenance, and installation to ATEX standards.

Liase directly with external resources (workshops, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers).

Prioritise work in conjunction with the relevant manager.
Key skills & experience:

Time served electrician, HNC or equivalent.

Self motivated and organised.

Understanding of statutory inspection requirements.

Confident and capable communicator.
-
High concern for standards, especially in relation to safety.

Experience of working on a high hazard COMAH plant preferred.

Flexible approach.
