We are hiring Nights Advanced Support Workers for our Supported Living services in Coventry & Bedworth
You will provide person centred support to empower adults with learning disabilities and autism. These individuals may display behaviours that challenge and have complex needs. You will support them to live a fulfilled and independent life back into the community.
As part of your role, you will work alongside our dedicated Therapeutic Support Team, who will support you through weekly team meetings, during which time you can reflect on the person-centred support being provided and have an active input into an individual’s development.
You will receive training around autism, forensic risk, trauma informed support and positive behavioural support. We will enable you to gain your essential skills certificate. You will have regular supervision meetings with your team leader to support your developing.
What you will you do:

Support individuals with complex needs and histories in a sensitive/person centred way to integrate people back into the community to live a fulfilled life.

Provide a minimum of 2:1 support to individuals with complex needs and various mental health diagnosis.

Play an integral role in the therapeutic team and contribute to update the Support plans.

Work as part of a team in a challenging environment.

Been responsible for administering medication.

Document and maintain accurate records of support provided.

Supporting individuals to get involved in different activities in and around their local areas, in line with their hobbies and interests.

Empowering people to gain life skills; Maintaining their own home, shopping, cooking, cleaning, managing their own finances and other aspects of their life.

This role is suited to someone who:

Has experience of working in adult care environment, or has experience of supporting people with complex needs in a personal/none employment capacity.
