Thomas Bennett Community College has a large Learning Inclusion Team who support
our diverse school population by offering in-class or small group interventions, and as a
result our students make impressive levels of progress.
In addition to our mainstream students who have additional cognition and learning or
physical needs, our school has a dedicated provision for up to 20 students with a
diagnosis of ASC or other Social Communication Need.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to work with our students
across all areas of need. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in
developing a therapeutic response to educational inclusion to further their skills. The
successful applicant will ideally have experience of working with young people and will
demonstrate a creative attitude to removing barriers to learning.
