Knapp Richardson are a firm of Costs Lawyers, experts in legal costs and advise clients on issues like litigation costs, the cost of legal services such as solicitors’ or barristers’ fees, and legal aid costs. They are looking for a Business Admin Apprentice to learn and understand a range of administration functions within a busy admin office.
What will the apprentice be doing?

Be proficient in the Microsoft Office package to include MS, Outlook and Excel
- Answering telephone enquiries and taking messages, making sure these are passed on to the relevant person
- Dealing with incoming emails and following up within 24 hours
- Creating, editing and updating spreadsheets (MUST have a good knowledge of Excel, preferably conversant with additional features such as pivot tables, vlookups, macros)
- Arranging for meetings by reserving rooms and securing refreshments
- Maintaining office equipment i.e. printer for smooth office functionality
- Receiving clients when they arrive and showing them the respective offices
- Conducting research and compiling data upon request
- Managing office supplies, including refreshments
Required Skills; (Essential)

Excel and Word experience
- An overall interest in Law / Solicitors / Maths / Accounting
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (Grade A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent)
