Hours: 40 hours per (fixable)
Pay: £26,400 Pro-rota

Job Summary:
OurCamps is seeking a skilled and experienced Food Delivery Coordinator to organise and oversee the delivery of nutritious hot meals to children and young people aged 4 -16 who attend OurCamps during school holidays. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of food across multiple locations in London and surrounding counties, and ensuring that all meals are delivered on time, meet nutritional standards, and are prepared in a safe and hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery of hot, nutritious meals to all OurCamps locations, ensuring that meals are prepared and delivered on time.
- Organise kitchens and hubs for food preparation.
- Hire and manage kitchen staff as required, including chefs, kitchen assistants and delivery drivers.
- Manage food budgets and expenses, ensuring that all costs are within budget and approved.
- Ensure that all meals are prepared and delivered in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with external partners and suppliers to ensure that all food is of high quality and meets nutritional standards.
- Work with OurCamps staff to understand the specific dietary requirements of children and young people attending OurCamps.
- Develop menus that are nutritious and appropriate for the age range of children attending OurCamps.
- Monitor and evaluate food delivery processes, making improvements as required to ensure the highest possible quality of service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in coordinating the delivery of food in a large-scale operation, preferably within the charity or education sectors. (Desirable)
- Experience in managing a team, including hiring, training and performance management.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices.
- A passion for providing nutritious meals to children and young people.
Education and Qualification:
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as hospitality or nutrition, is desirable but not essential.
Food hygiene qualifications, such as a Level 2 (minimum) Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate, are required.
