Reports to: Box Office Manager
Rate of Pay: £11.11 per hour
Contract: 21 or 28 hours per week (plus additional hours as required)

Our Sales Advisors engage directly with our customers, helping people to deepen their relationship with TRP through our creative programme.

The Role
Principal responsibilities-
Sales Advisors are responsible for delivering excellent customer care and driving sales for TRP’s ticketed activities, membership products and guest services, in-person and via inbound and outbound calling and email communications. Encouraging our audiences to develop their relationship with TRP through every visit, you’ll have a natural affinity for engaging with the public. You’ll work with empathy to advise individual customers, members, corporate members, schools’ and group bookers, consistently delivering sales across all our productions, playing an integral part in building loyalty across all segments of TRP’s customer base.
Main duties include:
Interacting with all our customers in a welcoming, friendly, professional manner – you’ll often be the first point of contact and responsible for delivering the best possible TRP experience
- Maintaining excellent knowledge of all our forthcoming productions and their demand levels so you can best guide customers into shows, performances and seats the best match their need
- Understanding customers’ journeys so you can best identify and promote opportunities to enhance experiences including through multi-purchase rewards and Memberships and signposting Engagement & Learning activity
- Deep understanding of TRP’s charitable mission which means you can ask for support from customers through donations
- Taking in-bound and making out-bound calls to facilitate individual, member, donor, corporate, school and group sales and reservations, logging information and taking payments precisely
- At ease working to achieve individual and team goals, with a focus on delivering excellent results consistently through close collaboration with managers, direct team members and with teams across TRP especially Marketing, Development and Front of House
- Continually building your working knowledge of Tessitura and other systems to accurately record sales to inform ongoing analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and administrative skills to maintain an efficiently operating team, including the preparation and distribution of e-tickets and banking
- Excellent standards of personal presentation with a smart appearance. Highly approachable and personable. Advocate of delivery great customer service.
