Location: Resilience Centre, Royal Oldham Hospital, OL1 2EY

We’re excited to be hosting a recruitment event on Tuesday 23rd May for nurses and nursing associates considering a career in Critical Care within the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

We’ll have representatives present from our Critical Care teams based across our organisation from Royal Oldham Hospital, Salford Royal Hospital, and Fairfield Hospital.

There are opportunities available across our sites for band 4 Nursing Associates as well as band 5 and band 6 Nurses to join our highly specialist multi-disciplinary teams.

Main duties of the job

During this event you will have the opportunity to speak with our NCA teams as well as visit the Critical Care unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital.

Interviews for posts across the NCA will be available on the day and if you wish to sign up for an interview, please make an application through this vacancy beforehand

Please note, it is essential that attendees have proven experience of working on a fast-paced Critical Care ward. This experience could have been gained either through a student placement or from previously working as a qualified nurse or as a qualified nursing associate, however it is deemed as essential, and we regret that we will not be able to interview candidates who do not have the required experience.

To control attendance and social distancing guidelines, we are inviting candidates to book a ticket via our Eventbrite page: HERE

All attendees must book a ticket in order to attend this event.

The Job Description attached is for a Band 5 Qualified Nurse, if you wish to request a copy of a Band 4 or 6 Critical Care JD, please contact: resourcingnca@nca.nhs.uk

COVID-19 Vaccination Information

COVID-19 vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course our patients from the virus when working in our healthcare settings. Whilst COVID-19 vaccination is not a condition of employment at this time, we do encourage our staff to get vaccinated. We will be checking the vaccination status of all new starters so that we can manage individual and environmental risks, and so that we can support those who may be undecided about vaccination. If you are unvaccinated there is helpful advice and information at https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/covid-19-vaccination-programme where you can also find out more about how to access vaccination. There is a current Government consultation underway which will determine whether some new starters may need to be vaccinated.
