Cygnet Service Co-Ordinator (Administrator)
The Cygnet Service works in partnership with children, parents, and partner agencies to fulfil the potential of every child/young person and their families by providing autism parenting support and practitioner training programmes that have been developed and evaluated to build knowledge, skills and support to make a difference for families and their communities. The service is funded and maintained through income generated from organisations at national/international level with training, resources, and support to deliver the Cygnet programme in their communities under licence to Barnardo's. To meet family's needs and to keep the programme relevant the service develops new and updated materials with the support of parents and key partners.
The foundation of the service is the Cygnet Autism Parent Support programme. This is an evidence-based programme for parents and carers of autistic children aged 5-18. The programme aims to support parents who may feel particularly isolated in meeting their child's needs by providing them with appropriate knowledge and skills in a mutually supportive environment.
The role: Cygnet Service Co-Ordinator (Admin)
To support the Cygnet Service, we have a vacancy for a passionate, dynamic, and experienced administrator to support this service on its exciting, innovative, and inclusive journey to provide families and practitioners with relevant information and support.
Cygnet is an exciting phase of development, in response to this we need to change the way we work. New service processes must be created to ensure we are able to work effectively and provide the same level of care and support for the people we work with.
Customer service and support is a priority for Cygnet, and we need someone who feels the same. Taking good care of the people who contact us and offering solutions to their queries will be part of your role. You will also contribute to an efficient and professional service by making sure records are accurate and kept up to date.
Cygnet stays connected to and works closely with a range of organisations and specialist practitioners. One of the ways we do this is through our social media pages. You will have the chance to share content and help us build strong and beneficial working relationships with individuals and organisations.
What can we offer you?
You will be at the heart of a small but focused team who are driven to provide high quality support for families and organisations. We are serious about the work we do and we enjoy doing it. We have an experienced team that can offer you support, and we will encourage you to bring your own unique skills to ensure you develop a role that works. We are based in Bradford, but you will be able to work with people from all over the UK and Republic of Ireland giving you opportunities to build relationships that can support your own professional development as well as making sure Cygnet thrives.
