Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Training Specialist II to join our team in the following locations: National Capitol Region to include Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland; Tucson, AZ; and Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI. Our team supports a government acquisition organization comprised of a multi-disciplinary, integrated team of Government and contractor personnel executing multiple, complex national border security projects. Through systems acquisition and fielding activities, projects we support impact leadership decision making regarding operational mission resource allocations, appropriate border security responses, and successful implementation of national border security priorities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provides support for the planning and development of technical and operator training for border enforcement technology systems in support of the PMOD Technical and Operator Training Team.
- Identify and provide training requirements and skill levels for training to be included in PMOD acquisition documentation; prepare, update, and provide technical and operator training report to USBP
Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, you must have an associate degree and 4yrs of related work experience -OR- a High School Diploma and 6yrs of related work experience
- A minimum of 3yrs of related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or SharePoint.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Education and Development, Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology, Instructional Systems Design, Training, Human Resource Development, Organization Development, or related or similar field.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Customs and Border Protection Public Trust suitability determination.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
The projected compensation range for this position is $57,700-$88,373. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
