About the role
As the Senior Data Analyst, you will deliver fantastic fundamentals in Data management to support the team’s broad scope of reporting and planning activities. To do this you will utilise flexible modelling solutions. Delving slightly deeper, success in this role will hinge on your ability to design, build and run well-structured, efficient and effective models to exploit big data. You will create outputs that you can clearly communicate through storytelling and effectively work in partnership with key business areas, whilst adopting an effective and nimble approach to challenges.
This is a brand new role in our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, within our Finance division. In basic terms, our FP&A team is tasked with empowering Arval UK to formulate best plans which enable great decision making, via robust business collaboration.
This vital role will help our business make the decisions needed to achieve its strategy.

This includes a basic salary of range of £45,000 to £55,000, plus up to £4,600 bonus and a company car/allowance (£5,500 per annum).

About You
For this role, you will need to demonstrate experience in building, running, giving appropriate outputs and managing complex Data sets in SAS (ideally) or similar software programs, such as Python/Business Intelligence software. Using flexible Data modelling solutions will be very familiar to you.
In addition to your Data expertise, there are several soft skills and behaviours needed that will be examined at interview. You will need to evidence an inquisitive mind-set with finely tuned commercial awareness along with excellent communication skills. Being able to explain your findings clearly to colleagues is important in this role. As is your ability to work in a team.
Experience within Finance would be advantageous but is not necessary.
