The Business Intelligence (BI) and Performance Management (PM) Team's purpose is to gather manage and exploit data from the across the DCTT to drive evidence-based decision-making. As the Senior Executive Officer of the team you will be responsible for leading the team in identifying broader opportunities for improvement, harmonisation and implementation of best practice and bench-marking across the DCTT.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week

The post holder will:

• Manage a robust Management Information System (MIS) for all departments across DCTT, Executive and stakeholder organisations.
• Execute effective data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement across DCTT. Including representing the Business Intelligence and Performance Management Team at internal and external DCTT meetings.
• Develop an understanding of the strategic drivers, to identify, formulate and present relevant and up-to-date information and, where appropriate, recommendations, to DCTT stakeholders to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Identify and disseminate process management changes across DCTT to generate increased effectiveness and harmonisation across stakeholders.
• Management of the development of new, and continuously improve existing, metrics to assess performance, identify actionable trends for the betterment of the DCTT.
• Provide line management, leadership and mentoring to the team.

The desirable specific professional skills and knowledge for the post are as follows:

• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power BI would be helpful.

The post does not offer relocation expenses.
