We are now looking for a Support Assistant to join our team either out of our Leatherhead, South Mimms or Dartford offices. You will work closely with the Structures Managers, Structures Asset Engineer, Inspection Team and Abnormal Load Team in achieving the contact obligations and managing the Structures Asset Portfolio. You will interface with Technical, Design, and Delivery teams across the Connect Plus/Connect Plus Services Team.
Responsibilities
- Weekly update of the inspection spreadsheet created by CPS, based on information taken from IAMIS and Agile, as well as managing said data and allocating inspectors to conduct inspections
- Assist with structures condition reporting
- Compliance with legislation and contract service schedules in relation to bridge structures
- Liaison with the AMS IT team to improve and maintain data within asset management system
- Develop collaborative relationships with appropriate stakeholders
- Ad hoc support to the CPS Inspection Team
- Monitor, Administer, and maintain Abnormal Load notifications coming in via, Abhaulier, EDSAL, and emails to ensure they comply with National Highways regulations
- Ensure that Abnormal Load movements do not conflict with planned works
- To encourage collaboration of activities to minimise disruption on the network
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders when advising of Abnormal load movements
- Manage and coordinate TTRO applications between National Highways and applicants
- Provide resilience for colleagues for holidays, sickness, training etc
- Ensure copies of Indemnities from hauliers wishing to move Abnormal loads are held on CPS approved platform
- Experience in Windows server operating systems
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Teams applications
- Current UK driving license
- Good customer service skills
- The post holder must meet the requirements of security clearance to Counter Terrorism Check level
