Bloom & Wild is re-inventing the $60B global flower industry. Over a billion flower exchanges take place every year and industry satisfaction levels are low. Driven by our vision of creating the destination for making life a little more thoughtful and beautiful, we do things differently. From inventing letterbox flowers to founding The Thoughtful Marketing Movement. And we’ve seen impressive traction to date - we are Europe’s largest direct to consumer flower company.
In January 2021 we announced our £75 million Series D funding round, led by General Catalyst (backers of Airbnb and Deliveroo), alongside other top tier investors including Index Ventures (investors in Wise and Glossier). We are home to a family of 3 strong brands, Bloom & Wild, bloomon and Bergamotte, having acquired bloomon in April 2021 and Bergamotte in July 2021. Together, we are active in 8 countries.
We really care about creating a diverse and inclusive team and we welcome people from all backgrounds, with different perspectives, ideas and experiences to work with us. In our team, everyone has the freedom to give their opinion, grow in their career and be part of a genuinely caring and inclusive team.
Brand & Creative at Bloom & Wild
Within the brand & creative team we’re a vibrant and dynamic bunch of 15 creative thinkers across 3 disciplines: brand (including brand management, brand partnerships and social media), creative (including creative concepting, art direction and copywriting, production, graphic, content and physical product design) and communications (consumer and corporate PR). We’re responsible for our global brand strategy and creative output and work with teams across the business in all markets to bring this to life.
We use customer insight and creative flair to build uplifting and innovative brand experiences for our customers and constantly challenge ourselves to do better. We collaborate closely with Research to inform our thinking, the Range and Business Development teams on designing our products and services, with the Germany team on plans that resonate in their local market and with our Digital Product and Design teams on our website and app.
We’re passionate about who we are as a brand and how we show up creatively in the world - and we love seeing Bloom & Wild grow, so we work at a fast pace, pouring thought and care into everything we do.
The role and ways of working
We’re looking for a Midweight Designer to join the Bloom & Wild creative team. Reporting to the Lead Creative, they will work alongside creative designers, copywriters, and production to help bring beautiful, thoughtful ideas to life that delight our customers. We’re looking for someone who is forward-thinking, curious to learn and expand their knowledge and skill sets, and excited by the meaningful impact their work can have.
The creative team is responsible for all of the brand’s creative output across organic and performance social, email, blog, and packaging, as well as the design of non-fresh product e.g. vases, and influencing our floral design through inspiring seasonal creative direction. We work on larger campaign activity, developing brand media campaigns for TV, OOH, Print and social, as well as brand activations and exciting partnerships like our recent collaboration with Liberty.
The team works closely and collaboratively with the brand team to shape brand storytelling and deliver outstanding content and experiences that set us apart. We bring together customer insight, business intelligence, and creative flair to build a compelling brand experience across content, products, and services that unlocks customer acquisition and retention.
Why Bloom & Wild?
