THE ROLE
Your will be a part of The Corporate Project Delivery Team. We are looking for a focused, detailed orientated individual who processes creative problem-solving skills and works well in a team environment. You will be responsible for support the Head of Business Analysis with delivery of key projects that strengths throughout the organisation, capturing current and To Be process, scoping, detailing functional and non- functional requirements and supporting the end-to-end project lifecycle from an analysis viewpoint.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build a relationship between business and technical departments relative to requirements, solutions, and priorities.
- Develop requirement documentation that will translate business needs into requirements that can be understood by the solution development team.
- Participating as needed in IT design review to ensure compatibility and interoperability of computing systems.
- Develop a knowledge of system capability and functions of assigned application software. Use this knowledge to recommend optimal solutions to business requirements that best leverages the solution/product/service.
- Manage the Corporate Projects as assigned.
- Ensure that proposed system features and requirements meet user needs and satisfy business objectives and initiatives.
- Support the in the test plans that are mapped against the documented requirements.
- Perform and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create training and system documentation, conducting training sessions, as necessary.
- Meet professional obligation through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honouring schedules, coordinating meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others.
ABOUT YOU
- 4/5 Years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with specific experience delivering Digital and Business Application requirements, gathering as part of business as usual and project delivery.
- Experience and proficiency with knowledgebase, defect tracking, and requirements related software system (such as Jira, Microsoft 365, Confluence etc).
- Proficient with core software applications, including Microsoft Application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Website Development, Financial systems.
- Understanding of accepted accounting principles, enterprise resourcing planning, infrastructure & operating systems, customer relationship management, and human resource information systems.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience in SDLC methodologies, (such as AGILE), preferred.
- Experience with business and technical requirement analysis, data modelling and methodology development.
- Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
- Proven analytical, mathematical, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks while under pressure.
- Strong communicator with experience of liaising with all levels of management.
- Conflict resolution skills.
