Your role and responsibilities
The Cash Management Team consists of the Cash Management Manager and six administrators. It sits within the Transactional Processing Team and works alongside the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
Main purpose & goals
The Cash Management Assistant will work as part of the Cash Management Team and wider Finance Team. They will be responsible for making all supplier payments and client refund requests for their allocated brands within Linnaeus Group. This will involve uploading bank statements, completing and checking payment runs to meet deadlines, and dealing with any related queries. They will be required to deal with any unreconciled items in a timely manner to meet monthly deadlines. The role requires a self-motivated, organised individual who can work well as part of a team to meet required deadlines and complete work accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Uploading bank statements and reconciling, payment runs, standing orders, direct debits, credit card payments, ad-hoc payments, dealing with internal and external supplier queries, bank queries, processing client refunds, sending remittance advices.
Personal skills
Finance experience, Microsoft Office (Excel) experience and accounting qualifications are desirable but not essential. It is more important that the successful candidate is a good team player with excellent communication skills. Attention to detail, the ability to work to deadlines and responsibility for managing your own workload are important.
The role would be hybrid, with 3 days a week working from home and the other 2 at the Linnaeus Support Office (Friars Gate)

Working as an integral part of the senior leadership team the Group Mental Health & Wellbeing Social Worker will be responsible for developing and embedding a programme to enhance the wellness of our Associates, and when appropriate, directly supporting them in the management of mental health issues when they occur.
