Entegris is seeking a highly motivated NPD Engineering Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality and continuous improvement are paramount.

In this exciting role, the New Product Engineering Manager is a key leader on a dynamic team in Burnet, TX, responsible for developing new, high-purity chemistry and delivery container solutions for advanced nodes for the semiconductor industry. You will lead a team of cross-functional engineers who partner with New Product chemists to develop and scale up synthesis and purification processes. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to successfully work across levels in a global, fast-paced, continuous improvement environment focused on safety, quality, statistical process controls and equipment reliability. This job opportunity is in our Burnet, TX facility, one hour outside vibrant Austin, TX.

In this role you will:
  • Integrate products into the factory environment from the New Product Development process.
  • Lead, inspire and coach the professional development of the New Product Engineering Team.
  • Research and identify new manufacturing methods to be used to improve the overall cost, quality, safety and delivery of our products.
  • Manage Phase Gate Program for New Product Development – work with development and engineering teams to meet phase gate commitments and deliverables
  • Develop and own safety culture within engineering team
  • Support critical continuous improvement processes for NPD and manufacturing
  • Own project management for NPD processes
  • Own capital expense for engineering projects
  • Develop performance metrics focused on safety, quality, customer satisfaction, process performance.
  • Create, manage and validate the deliverables from product development to sources of supply.
  • Review and advise on external contract engineering services.
  • Participate in establishing, validating and execution of the supply chain design against the manufacturing strategy.
  • Listen actively and solve problems in a structured manner.
  • Manage change through cross-functional partnering in a global environment
  • Ability to travel <10% both domestically and internationally.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.S. or higher in an engineering discipline; A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum ten years engineering experience in a related engineering discipline with 5 years in a leadership role with a core strength in leading large, diverse, global teams.
  • Hands-on experience working with product lifecycle management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), product data management tools, and engineering change order systems.
  • Experience with manufacturing process development, design analysis, process optimization, value analysis, and strategic project management.
  • Background in developing manufacturing requirements for product introduction to global factories.

  • Demonstrated experience within a global, multicultural, multi-location organization serving the semiconductor industry.
  • Timely development and sustainable scaling of new manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated results in continuous improvement on the global level.
  • Ability to influence leadership at all levels.
  • Expertise in developing and executing a strategic plan.
  • Proactively identify concerns and recommend solutions.
