The role
As a Transport Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Delivering blue light training to the London Fire Brigade
Day to day, you’ll deliver and accurately evidence Emergency Response Training to London Fire Brigade personnel complying with current legislation and National Guidelines. To be an active and effective member of the Transport Training Team.
- Assess learners, record results, provide feedback and guidance on performance, developing action plans as required
- Comply with LFB policy requirements in relation to being “Fit to Train”
- Communicate verbally and in written form ideas and concepts using language and style appropriate to the audience
- Keep up to date with organisational & stakeholder policies, procedures, knowledge and competencies
Essential experience of the Transport Trainer,
- Emergency Response Trainer (qualified within last 5 years) from UK Police, Fire or Ambulance Service
- Assessor qualification or willing to study towards
Qualifications for the Transport Trainer,
- DVSA ADI (Grade A or B)
- DVSA Cat C LGV Licence (held minimum of 5 years)
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance level for this role.
