Job Description

Financial Services Marketing Campaign Manager

  • Lead, manage and deliver integrated multi-media campaigns for our Financial Services propositions

  • Join NFU Mutual a Gallup Exceptional Workplace 2023, LinkedIn Top 25 Companies List 2021 and a Glassdoor Best 50 Workplaces List 2023.

  • Hybrid working - minimum one day per week in Head Office Stratford upon Avon

About the role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented marketing professional to join our Marketing Campaigns team at NFU Mutual.

Working as part of the Marketing and Digital division, you will drive our Financial Services marketing strategy by leading, managing and overseeing the creation of integrated multi-media campaigns for our Financial Services propositions, which include Pensions, Investments and Protection.

You’ll use your subject matter expertise and data-driven decision making to develop highly engaging, customer-focused campaigns that effectively deliver strategic and business objectives for both new and existing customers. Working closely with customer data analysts, you’ll make sure all campaigns are analysed and use this insight to create recommendations and drive ongoing improvements through test and learn activity, to deliver maximum ROI.

Your exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills will be used regularly, working with senior leaders across the wider business and our NFU Mutual network of Agents and Financial Advisors.

Ready to develop your skills and open to embracing new ideas, you’ll be working in a regulated environment where you’ll be quick to identify how to minimise risk to the organisation, ensuring mitigation plans and controls are in place to ensure marketing campaigns are delivered to plan, agreed budget and in line with regulatory standards.

As a manager you will lead, motivate, and develop your direct report to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support you to work up to 80% of your hours from home.

About you

Used to working at pace, you have a passion for Marketing and are able to effectively balance your customer lens with a commercial mindset. Mindful of working in a regulated environment, you’re creative, open to embracing new ideas and use your excellent communication skills to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels. To join our team you must also hold a relevant Marketing qualification such as CIM or IDM Diploma, or be actively/planning to start studying for one (please ensure this is listed on your CV).

Experience and Knowledge

Essential
  • Experience of marketing within, or with, a regulated industry – if this has been gained whilst working for an agency, please ensure this is listed on your CV
  • Good understanding of the full marketing mix and experience of project managing and delivering complex integrated campaigns working with a number of teams – including direct mail, email and content creation
  • Experience working as a manager or senior leader with direct reports
  • Experience in building effective relationships with senior business stakeholders
  • Confident and experienced in working with data
  • Experience in managing third party suppliers

Desirable
  • Experience within Financial Services / Insurance / Banking
  • A good understanding of Pensions, Protection and Investment products. At least a Foundation level certification in Financial Planning would be advantageous, but not essential

Benefits and Rewards

When you join our team, you can expect a supportive culture and an attractive range of rewards and benefits including:

Salary £55,000 to £70,000 dependent on experience

  • Annual bonus (up to 25% of salary)

  • Contributory pension scheme, up to 20%, including your 8% contribution
