We are looking for a Data Specialist with experience in data processing, management, visualization, and value-creation, as well aswith expertise in Python/R, Databricks, Airflow, PowerBI, and Power Automate. You will function as our creative problem solver and get to drive decision making by unlocking and automating data solutions. Furthermore, you will:
Drive data solutions across the organization, using multiple data sources, with the objective of structuring and maintaining data integrity.
Improve the performance reporting and analysis capabilities through easing access to dashboards, scorecards, and insights.
Be proactive in investigating new opportunities to use data for real-time decisions and to be more efficient at targeting shoppers and converting sales.
Support ad-hoc data analysis requests needed for fact-based decisions making.
You will join our A&I of approximately 80 colleagues. We ensure the data integrity for the entire LEGO® Group and are dedicated to making our organisation the best data-driven company. By using Power BI and a constantly evolving Big Data platform, we empower the organisation by bringing data closer to the business.
In this role, you will get a deep understanding of enabling the consumer sales data. With that, you will be the go-to person for related inquires, as well as suggestions on how to improve it further. Daily, you will collaborate with our internal IT department, as well as an external vendor and your team members across the A&I Team.
Do you have what it takes?
The successful candidate comes with a relevant educational background and a few years of hands-on experience within the Data field. A commercial understanding is a definite plus. You have:
Demonstrated expertise in data manipulation, data architecture and test design.
Experience working with enterprise reporting systems (SAP), large data sets and writing sophisticated Python/R queries, with expertise in Databricks/Airflow.
Experience with data visualization tools and creating data visualization concepts (PowerBI, Tableau etc).
Experience in finding data use-cases and recommending innovative solutions.
Experience in ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) software.
Moreover, you are curious and eager to learn new tools and technologies. You are able to communicate fluently in English, and to collaborate with many different partners such as IT and our Data Office.
