Job Title: Operations Manager (Cleaning Services)
Responsible to: Managing Director
Salary: Competitive Salary based on experience. In addition to this you will have use of a company vehicle and fuel card, sales related bonus and an enhanced annual leave allowance.
Area of work: Ideally located in Yorkshire/Derbyshire, working from our Chesterfield head office.
Hours of work: Full time; min. 40-45 hours per week – permanent position.
Times of Work: Flexible in accordance with needs of the job, predominately Monday to Friday.
Key Requirements:
- Provide Operational Management support across client sites.
- Completion of Site Audits – with both Staff / Clients – resolving any issues in timely manner.
- Manage staff attendance system / holiday and sickness to ensure all shifts are covered.
- To carry out site out-of-hours spot-checks on a regular basis.
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and encourage safe working practices on site.
- Recruit new cleaning staff members as required.
- Provide training and support to cleaning operatives.
- Provide discipline procedures to cleaning operatives as required.
- Diarise, organise, schedule, and manage a variety of tasks and delegate duties to mobile support staff members and site-based cleaning operatives.
- Respond to any Client complaints and take the appropriate course of action in a timely manner to resolve issues raised.
- Manage stock equipment and supplies of cleaning materials for sites.
- Set up / staff / mobilise new sites as required.
Key Skills:
- Have a high energy, positive can-do attitude.
- A long and established experience in the cleaning industry preferred.
- Enjoy training, administration and leading your team.
- Have an excellent understanding of cleaning.

- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have the ability to use Microsoft 365.
