Wates Construction are looking for an IT Programme Manager to join their team focussing on managing the delivery of a portfolio of change programmes and projects, ensuring alignment across Group IT and the Construction Group.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Programme Managers are an essential part of our 5 Year IT plan and focus on working with the business to identify areas for improvement, and then developing projects which concentrate on those areas, working with key suppliers and applications.
As our IT Programme Manager, you will be involved in:
- Working with the Construction Group’s Business Units and Functional representatives to develop project briefs and project initiation documentation for proposed programmes and projects to ensure that the end deliverables meet the strategic goals of the business.
- Managing the delivery of the IT programmes and projects under their control, including shaping, and guiding in the inception stages.
- Being responsible for the projects under your control, utilising artefacts such as Microsoft Project plans, RAID Logs etc. to understand the detail and allow you to provide appropriate challenge and guidance where required to project managers.
