This role would suit an outgoing individual with good leadership skills.
Responsible for a small but experienced accounts office team, good communication and leadership skills are vital, however the role requires someone who is also willing to be hands-on when required.
As the business embarks on a business wide new system implementation, we are seeking a high caliber person to support the Finance Director in the accurate production of financial information for the business.
The role is responsible for a varied mix of business administration activity, accounting processes and information provision and would suit an individual who has previously worked within the SME environment.
Experience in a consumer facing, retail or an importing and distribution based business would be beneficial but is not essential.
The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and experience:-
Technical Knowledge / Skills
- Preparation of Management Accounts up to trial balance
- Sage payroll and pension administration
- VAT and other business reporting
- Purchase to pay processes and cash flow management
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
- Experience working with MS NAV, Dynamics or Business Central useful but not essential
Personal Skills
- Team leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Outgoing positive personality
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion to provide fantastic support to the accounts team and the wider businesses management team
