Following a highly successful series A funding round in 2021 we’ve built a world-class team across Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and People & Operations who are taking our business to the next level - and now we’re looking to fill the last few key positions…Headquartered in a townhouse in Soho, Central London, we operate a hybrid working environment with regular face-to-face co-working, off-sites and other events combined with remote working across the UK and Europe including a growing team in Sofia, Bulgaria. 7bridges' all-in-one, AI-powered logistics management platform has received heightened interest following Coronavirus, as companies look to reduce cost, improve efficiency, build resilience and improve customer experience relating to their logistics. You will be the sort of person that would thrive in a start-up environment and the culture of the company reflects this. This represents an opportunity for you to make an impact, leveraging and building on the existing sales processes and infrastructure, using your experience to improve the foundations already in place. An ideal candidate will be confident in navigating and proficiently running end-to-end sales cycles with minimal guidance but not shy about pulling on internal expertise and resources when required.


The Role:


  • Create and own the strategy for engaging prospects in your territory and achieving assigned goals and quotas on a consistent basis
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from opportunity through to renewal (we do not presently separate existing account management from new customer sales so you will truly get to own the customer relationship – and the revenue that flows from their successful use of our solutions)
  • Qualify leads supplied by marketing, proactively identify new sales opportunities through networking, and turn them into long-term partnerships
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, Product Management and other key teams to ensure that your customer’s expectations are met and exceeded
  • Provide input on market opportunities and needs to Product Management to inform future product roadmap decisions
  • Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their successes, and future needs – and how we can help
  • Negotiate sales and structure deals to maximise ACV and ARR
  • Keep all sales systems of record updated with opportunity and prospect status
  • Proactively contribute ideas to improve sales operations and execution as we continue to build our business and teams
  • Work closely with the Sales Leadership and leadership team including the CEO and collaborate across all supporting functions including Customer Success, Product Management, People & Operations, to drive your own, and 7bridges’, success

Desired Skills & Experience:


  • Proven success as an Account Executive in a New Business SaaS role, targeting mid and large B2B organisations, understanding of navigating a complex sales cycle and proving how to drive urgency by selling a solution that is not already a categorised solution, and therefore is not an explicit need
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering new business and hitting your numbers consistently
  • Able to cross-sell and up-sell, as well as structure and negotiate deals
  • Proactive and driven, able to supplement your pipeline with your own prospecting
  • Effective at handling and navigating around/diffusing objections, always focusing on value as the key driver of the sale
  • Respected by your previous clients, not a cut-and-run salesperson
  • Able to navigate and run complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders proficiently, confidently and effectively
  • Effective communicator, comfortable presenting to, engaging and challenging across a wide range of functional areas up to C-suite
  • Quick learner, driven, positive, accountable for own success
  • Familiar with MEDDPICC (or other similar recognised sales methodologies)

Duties, including but not limited to:


  • Create and document a territory plan
  • Achieve your annual sales number
  • Identify, qualify and win Net New Logos
  • Evaluate the marketplace and determine where low-hanging fruit may exist in your territory.
  • Drive opportunities to a close
  • Accurately forecast weekly
  • Drive senior-level engagement
  • Be a thought leader in your space
