Join our Cyber Operations Team
Softcat's Cyber Operations Team provides managed cyber security services to a wide variety of customers in many different industries. The team runs SOC services including Managed SIEM, Vulnerability Assessment, MDR and Threat Intelligence, enabling our customers to detect and respond to cyber threats across their corporate systems.

As a member of the Cyber Engineering function, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring and maintaining the tools used to deliver the different parts of the service.
As a Cyber Operations Apprentice Engineer you'll be responsible for:
- Configuring SIEM, Vulnerability Assessment and MDR tools
- Speaking to customers to address issues or introduce new features and capabilities
- Participating in reporting and Service Reviews
- Keeping up to date with Cyber news and activities
- Completing your Level 4 Qualification
We'd love you to have
- A passion for technology and cyber security
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Exposure to scripting or IT systems management desirable
- A minimum of GCSE English & Maths (Level 4/Grade C and above)
- An A-Level in an IT or STEM based subject
