Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent
In Finance, we play a major role in enabling the council to provide a full range of services to the people of Leicester and our internal employees by making sure they have the resources they need. From working directly with residents to collect rates, or advising on areas like housing benefits, to dealing with payments and receivables, we help to enrich people’s lives.
It’s full of fast-paced, dynamic, and varied work in our Business Service Centre. We bring together all financial operational and transactional services under one unit, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash services, social care finance and housing revenue accounting functions. That means we constantly focus on the future, looking at how we can improve processes and find different approaches to deliver real value. So, join us and you’ll discover plenty of opportunities to shape the way we work and develop a rewarding career.
Based at Town Hall you can join us on a full time position on a permanent basis working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
