XEIAD are the largest provider of civil infrastructure inspections in the UK.

Specialising in difficult access our teams have extensive experience inspecting structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, and shafts across industry sectors such as Rail, Highways, Marine, Utilities and Defence.

As a Quality Assurer you support the assurance and compliance arrangements for undertaking Internal Verification activity in line with TRG-01-SOP-02 Competency Management System for the Examination of Framework Procedure following the update to Network Rail CIV1000 standard.
Internal Audit and supplier audit activities against the HSQE Audit Plan in particular project compliance across all sectors.
Act as document controller to support the Business Management System document framework.
Responsibilities include:
Internal Verification
- To monitor and evaluate how assessors carry out their working in practice in order to highlight any issues with individual assessments and the assessment process in general.
- Accurately interpret the standards and learning objectives objectively.
- To support the assurance and compliance arrangements for undertaking Internal Verification activity in line with TRG-01-SOP-02 Competency Management System for the Examination of Framework Procedure following the update to Network Rail CIV1000 standard.
- This will include visits to XEIAD locations including offices and sites to ensure verification KPIs are fulfilled.
- Accurately, legibly and complete all the necessary assessment documentation in a timely manner.
Internal Auditor/Supplier Audit
- Undertake internal audit activities as per the company procedure Audit, Inspection and Tours against the HSQE audit plan
- Undertake project compliance audits across all sectors
- Undertake supplier audit activities on behalf of all sectors
- Report any non-conformances in a timely manner and follow up the corrective actions with sector representatives.
Document Controller
Working in accordance with the company Document Management Procedure:
- Allocate/control document numbering/naming systems for business management system documentation
- Carry out quality checks on all new/amended document requests
- Publishing documents to the relevant platforms and hubs

Skills and Experience
- 5 GCSE's Grade A-C, including Maths and English
- Medically fit (pass pre-employment medical and ongoing medicals, including Drug and Alcohol tests)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- IT Literate (Microsoft Office)
- At least 1 years’ experience working on the rail infrastructure (Desirable)
