Hours: 28 hours per week (0.8FTE)
Salary: Grade 7: £36,333 - £40,745 with possible progression to £45,737 pro-rata

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in academia and to be a contributor within the School of Health Sciences at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, providing a high quality, exceptional and transformative educational experience for our Nutrition students. You will play a key role in growing our portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science and Innovation and Public Health. In addition, where relevant, there are opportunities to contribute to other programmes across the Division, School and wider University. You will be supported by an experienced and collegiate team.
The School, with its breadth of professional programmes, delivers Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health as well as Therapeutic and Diagnostic Radiography, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapies, Speech and Hearing Science, Nursing and Paramedic Science. As such we are in a unique position to develop opportunities for multi-professional and interdisciplinary learning and teaching, scholarly activity and research.
To apply for this role, you should have a first degree in Nutrition or Dietetics and have a post graduate degree relevant to the area of Nutrition; an ability to contribute to the fundamental principles of nutrition will be expected. It is essential to have knowledge of contemporary practice and policy in the field of Nutrition the implications for education.
