The Role
As a result of continual company expansion we’re looking to develop an IT & Systems Department, with an exciting opportunity available for an IT Co-ordinator/Manager ready for their next career challenge.
At EPH Creative we believe that in developing our own systems, we get the best results. We’ve invested heavily to build and develop these systems in-house, this has largely been driven by the Directors – who have also been hands-on in co-ordinating day-to-day IT and System support for the workforce.
We are now looking for a candidate who wants to join us for the long term, to learn our systems, and work alongside us to take ownership and help shape the Company’s growth through solid IT & System foundations and continued development.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working at pace and who wants to feel like their daily activities have a true impact on those around them. We need a hands-on IT generalist with a sound foundation in IT, someone who is always learning and able to thrive in the rapidly changing industry of information technology.
This role is open to both Co-ordinator and Manager level applicants – so If you’re a co-ordinator level, looking for self-development opportunities, we can offer you the opportunity to learn new IT or Managerial skills.
For those more experienced & senior, this role is also open to you to take on additional responsibilities such as Line management and Department Head ownership – provided you are still happy to be hands-on.
Responsibilities
IT & Systems Co-ordinator
o Day-to-day you are able to troubleshoot and support co-workers with basic IT support, both in-house and remote working ensuring efficient and effective technology access. Managing internal IT support ticketing system to ensure issues are resolved swiftly. For more complex issues you’ll prioritise, escalate and co-ordinate support from our 3rd Party IT Suppliers.
o Managing and maintaining all technological equipment, such as computers, tablets, and smartphones. Ensuring that company devices interconnect with file servers, email servers, and systems seamlessly. Installing, upgrading, and managing software and hardware on company devices.
o In addition to overseeing day-today IT & System issues, you’ll also work at a strategic level, planning and managing projects alongside Managers and IT Suppliers. Such as testing and maintenance of existing and new software or helping develop emergency plans for equipment, power, or security failure to preserve technology and data.
o You’ll oversee the sourcing, procurement and asset logging of the IT & Systems Department, sourcing, placing orders and maintaining relationships with technology, software and security suppliers.
o You’ll work alongside our HR Department to support all new starters -with equipment, software, devices and appropriate training.
o IT & Systems Manager Responsibilities (These optional additional responsibilities are available for more experienced candidates for a more senior position)
o Management of IT & Systems Team (Currently consisting of Developer and Website Manager).
o Creation, implementation and maintenance of corporate IT policies and procedures, including accessible documentation of these.
o Collaborate with Directors and lead on roadmap for company-wide System development.
o IT Business interruption plans -evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes.
o Responsibility for assuring that IT activities & data are within the limits of applicable laws and regulations.
o Management of IT budget for the organisation as a whole and for specific departments on direction of department heads and the financial director.
o IT & System team recruitment
o Knowledge and experience managing IT supplier relationships, monitoring and measuring supplier performance against contractual requirements.
Skills & Experience:
- The successful IT Systems Coordinator will be an all-rounder and have previous experience working in a similar level role and will enjoy being a part of a close-knit team within a fast-paced environment.
- Curious, Inquisitive, Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Proactive, self-sufficient, able to prioritise and calm under pressure.
- Expertise in IT tools and concepts, such as operating systems and internet protocol suites.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Administration suite including Active Directory, Exchange and SharePoint
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based Google apps, including google workspace.
- Knowledge and experience managing networking hardware and networking principles including Wi-Fi.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
- Strong understanding of Hosted cloud solutions including AWS and Azure

Full Time ( Part Time Considered) 30-40hrs, minimum 4 days a week
Commutable from Leeds, York, Harrogate (own transport required)
Remote/Hybrid Working: Where we can support employees with flexibility of remote or hybrid working, we do. We are also a strong believer in the importance of collaboration and close teamwork that is so effortless when teams share a workspace. Most of our workforce are based on site in Wetherby. Due to the location of our team, and nature of this role we expect this position to be based in the office the majority of the time, with occasional hybrid working a possibility.
