Key Account Manager
Location: Fife, Scotland
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Depending on Experience
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday
Overview:
Hardman Grey Recruitment is currently seeking a Key Account Manager with experience in B2B accounts for the semiconductors/ microelectronics industry on behalf of our client.
The successful Key Account Manager will;
- Develop an understanding of customer operations and photomask needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Ensure global sales are met by using sales plans and account strategies
- Budget and forecast customer activity
- Meet clients face to face in order to align future customer needs and requirements with the business strategy
- Nurture relationships with key decision makers by understanding the customer and organizational structure
- Work closely with manufacturing sites to provide technical solutions and quotations
- Create client progress reports
- Communicate with the operations and manufacturing teams for client requirements
- Organize business review meetings with clients
- Support marketing activities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
The Key Account Manager will be required to have:
- At Least 3 years of sales experience
- Experience in a technical sales role, ideally in the semiconductor/ lithographic device industry
- Strong communication skills to build relationships
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Enthusiastic and self motivated to meet targets
- English and an additional language such as German would be an advantage
The role will require travel within the UK and Europe (at least 1 week per month) and some international travel may be required.
