Job Purpose
The role is based at our UK HQ in Leatherhead and is an opportunity to work with a variety of skilled individuals in the Animal Health industry and experts in their professional field. The overall purpose of the role is to work alongside the team of Head Office, supporting them towards achieving their commercial and strategic goals.
The Marketing function at Zoetis is responsible for driving the brand strategies to promote the sales of Zoetis products and services. The marketing team is responsible for developing the marketing strategy in conjunction with the commercial business for new and focus products, they shape the country wide marketing direction based on the global marketing strategy; creating plans that support global priorities and developing local commercial activities for each product or service. The marketing function is also responsible for budgeting and planning the spending on each marketing activity that would be carried out in the full year, evaluate the return on investment and ultimately deliver financial results.
This role supports the team to ensure delivery of activities such as projects, new product launches, training interventions and new services – all of which aim to satisfy the business units strategic objectives and comply with regional and local policies and procedures.
During your time at Zoetis, you can expect to develop key planning, project management and communication skills as well as developing operational expertise. You will gain a good understanding of how a support function delivers targeted support and solutions to Business Units.

Core Responsibilities
Business Unit Support
- Provide competent and professional administrative support to commercial operations and business support services as required
- Plan, organise and prioritise requests in order to meet deadlines, team expectations and own workload
- Work with commercial business units to venue source, plan and organise commercial events and meetings across Ireland, co-ordinating all logistics
Compliance
- Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global vet Policy, Zoetis values and local codes of practice

Training & Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student in relevant field to the internship being recruited, e.g., Marketing, Data Management, Logistics & Supply Chain, etc.
