Marketing Assistant
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join a truly lovely artisan food manufacturing company, based in the Thanet area, and want someone who has a real passion for both food and marketing. This client's products are well-known within their niche sector. You couldn't be joining at a more exciting time! The company is expanding and has recently purchased 13 acres of land, just 10 minutes from their current location, and will be investing in a purpose-built facility with high tech production equipment. Not only that, but 9 acres of the land will be used for solar panels, with the aim of being net zero and producing all - or the vast majority - of their own power. This is an exciting step forward in achieving sustainability. Estimated time of moving into the new facility is 2025. Rest assured, they will be keeping their signature artisanal flavour!
Salary from £20,319 for a Graduate to c£24,000 per annum for someone with a few years of experience. Hours are 8am to 4pm, with a half hour for lunch, on a 37.5 hour week. Benefits to include 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), annual discretionary bonus, two staff events per year, and a £20 cinema voucher on your birthday.
As a Graduate, or having gained 1-2 years initial experience in a dedicated marketing role, you will be seeking to step into a more varied and challenging opportunity, where you can grow and develop. Duties include:
- Being involved in supporting the sales team with a range of digital marketing campaigns in order to increase product awareness with existing partners and new clients alike.
- Work with the outsourced agency support to ensure the PR and supporting activity is planned and targeted accurately.
- Assist with building customer and brand awareness via the use of social media across all platforms, and develop campaigns with consistent brand messaging.
- Add content to client website as directed using basic code /HTML skills.
- Feedback on effectiveness of the digital marketing campaigns by analysing statistics and available information.
- Produce reports/ assist with copy writing and proof reading of literature and social media posts.
Ideally you will have a relevant marketing or business degree and have excellent spoken and written English skills.
We are also looking for someone who is familiar with packages including MS Suite Excel/Word & Power Point, alongside Indesign & Photoshop, HTML and have a strong understanding of social media platforms.
