Job Purpose
To co-ordinate the successful delivery of Bolton Together Voluntary
Community and Social Enterprise Sector (VSCE) Family Hub Programme and associated programmes, facilitating partnership working, overseeing quality assurance and contract management, compiling reports and attending partnership meetings. Ensure a high-quality offer and positive experience for children and parents and families.
Main Duties
- Produce and co-ordinate delivery plans for the VCSE Programme
- Monitoring programme delivery with providers to ensure that targets are being met and outcomes achieved
- Facilitate members to work together to deliver high quality services for families in Bolton
- Ensure and support providers in the development of mechanisms to co- design and co-produce services with parents and carers, listening to and improving services based on their views and experiences
- Facilitate and co-ordinate connectivity with other delivery partners within the statutory and community sector
- Build strong relationships across our members and key stakeholders
- Liaise with commissioners to report on the progress of the programme
- Co-ordinate promotion of the delivery programmes across providers
- Complete quarterly monitoring reports to bring together delivery from all Bolton Together providers
- Connect providers to external funding opportunities to enhance the offer and support collective and individual funding bids
- Identify appropriate training with providers and support access to training
Other Key Duties
1. Risk management and escalation of concerns
2. To apply safeguarding and child protection procedures and to report as necessary
3. To deliver presentations to commissioners and providers
4. To represent the organisation at meetings
5. To utilise social media to promote the offer and the programme outcomes
6. To attend Team Meetings, events and to undertake mandatory training
7. To keep accurate records and collate and analyse data for reporting of outputs and outcomes and use the Lamplight Database to do this where required
8. To work flexibly with some potential evening and weekend work by prior agreement.
9. To perform own administrative duties as required for the post
10. To perform any other duties commensurate with these responsibilities, the grade of the post and skills and qualifications of the post-holder
Person Specification
Essential - E Desirable - D
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in E programme delivery/co-ordination
Experience of supporting contract D management
Experience of partnership working E
Experience and or understanding of the E needs of parents, children and families and the challenges they face.
Excellent communication and E interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills and the E ability to multitask
Competent in the use of Microsoft E packages
Flexible team worker E
Ability to use own initiative and manage E your own workload
Understanding of equal E opportunities and equity of access
Understanding of the community and D voluntary sector in Bolton
