Key Responsibilities:
As our Lead Dental Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our practice and leading the clinical team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive Dental Nursing: Utilise your in-depth knowledge and expertise to provide exceptional chairside assistance during treatments, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Strong Leadership: Inspire and motivate our clinical team, providing guidance and support to help them flourish and deliver outstanding service. On-the-job leadership coaching will be provided to help you excel in this role.
- Practice Development: Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and quality of our services.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards, including maintaining accurate patient records, infection control, and health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- GDC Registration: Hold a valid General Dental Council (GDC) registration, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining professional standards.
- Comprehensive Dental Nursing Knowledge: Possess a strong foundation in dental nursing techniques, equipment, materials, and procedures.
- Motivation and Drive: Exhibit a proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a passion for driving the practice forward.
- Strong Compliance Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance within the practice.
- Strong Leadership Potential: While experience as a Lead Dental Nurse is not essential, we are looking for individuals with the potential to develop strong leadership skills. On-the-job coaching and support will be provided to help you excel in this role.
