Are you an internationally educated nurse living in the UK?

Are you looking for support with the OSCE process to gain your NMC Pin?

This could be your next move!

Here at North Bristol NHS Trust, we run an established OSCE Education Programme to support nurses in their preparation for the NMC OSCE.

Each month, we welcome a group of internationally educated nurses onto the programme which is a great opportunity to meet other nurses on a similar journey to NMC registration. The programme consists of 15 study days, covering all the exam stations and allowing time for mock exams and time to practice skills with experienced OSCE facilitators.

The Trust will book and pay for your first attempt at the OSCE and will also arrange and pay for transportation to and from the exam. We are also able to offer a reimbursement package, offering repayment for:

This opportunity can be offered once you have completed your CBT exam and meet the NMC English language requirements. We would then look forward to you joining other internationally educated nurses on the OSCE Education Programme.

You must be an experienced international nurse who has completed their CBT and/or OET-IELTS exam (at least 1 must be complete to be eligible for this post)

You will begin in post working as a Senior Healthcare support worker while you complete any remaining tests (CBT, OET etc)
During the week, you will have a mixture of study days and clinical shifts which will allow you to consolidate your learning in the clinical area.

Once you have passed the OSCE , you will be uplifted to a Band 5 role.

North Bristol NHS Trust employs over 12,000 staff providing healthcare to the residents of Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset from our award-winning hospital building at Southmead. We are the regional Major Trauma Centre, and an internationally recognised centre of excellence in a range of services and major specialities.
