Applicants who are successful at sift will be invited to an assessment day which will be held throughout the week commencing 10th July 2023. During the day candidates will be tested through a number of assessments and exercises. Throughout these behaviours will be assessed and no preparation will be required for these. Those to be tested at interview will be leadership, seeing the big picture and communicating and influencing.
During the assessment day, candidates will also take the Imagery Analysis Aptitude Assessment; candidates who do not pass the Imagery Analysis Aptitude Assessment will be sifted out at that stage. Applicants who have already passed the aptitude assessment will not be required to complete it again. Applicants who have tried and failed to pass the assessment twice will be automatically sifted out at the earliest stage possible.
The sift will be completed as soon as possible after the closing date and candidates will be informed of the results, at all stages, via the website.

If the successful candidate does not hold the necessary clearances, they will be made a provisional job offer and asked to undergo our vetting procedures. Once the relevant clearances have been obtained a formal job offer will be made and start dates can be discussed. Should the candidate fail to obtain the relevant clearances the provisional job offer will be rescinded. It should be noted that this process can take several months.
As a result of the changes to the UK immigration rules which came into effect on 1 January 2021, the Ministry of Defence will only offer sponsorship for a skilled worker visa under the points-based system, where a role has been deemed to be business critical.
