Store Manager - Curry's Spar Church Brae
We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Store Manager.
The role will involve managing the daily in store operation of an existing Spar store within the Curry's Group. Ensuring policies, procedures and Company guidelines are implemented and excellent levels of customer service are delivered. The role will involve the management of staff as well as ensuring sales and targets are achieved.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate your team to complete their work to their full potential.
- Provide a happy, productive environment for staff and customers alike.
- Take full responsibility for the performance and day-to-day operations of your store.
- Delegate tasks and motivate your team to achieve your store’s goals
- Solve problems swiftly to enable your team to focus on their tasks
- Recruit, train and develop your team.
- Ensure excellent Customer Service throughout your store
- Monitor, manage and improve key performance indicators throughout your store
Experience and Skills
- A min. of 2 years experience in convenience retailing at Store Manager/Supervisory level.
- Good working knowledge of all fresh food areas and a proven ability to maintain an exceptionally high standard.
- Proven experience in the areas of stock control, people management, cost control, HACCP implementation.
- Excellent attention to detail in store standards and excellent communication skills
